Hey y’all!  Come on in!  Make yourselves at home!  Gentlemen, put your hat on top of the player piano and ladies, put your purse anywhere you’d like.  I promise you, it’s as safe as can be.  There’s buttermilk biscuits in the oven, a pot of chicken and rice simmering on the stove, along with a mess of fresh collard greens and peach cobbler cooling on the windowsill.  After you’ve ate your fill, we’ll enjoy swingin’ on the front porch and talk about the good old days.  The sun sets real slow here.  So, kick off your shoes and wiggle your toes…we’ve got all the time in the world.
