About the Author

Dawn is a former employee of the Robeson County Department of Social Services. She uses this working knowledge and her memories as the granddaughter of a farmer in creating her stories. Summers on the farm and
weekend visits were full of adventure and discoveries. Dawn worked from sunrise to sunset under the sagging shelters of dusty, old tobacco barns and loved every minute she spent alongside her country relatives. In their
honor, she offers 'A Stranger Comes Home' and 'A Stone's Throw To Murder' as a tribute to a time, a place and its very special people.
